
On May 6, 2023 our church will release an army of compassion throughout our area. We have a variety of projects that need helping hands. We invite you to participate by signing up in advance for a project. Your team lead will contact you with specifics prior to Serve Day. If you have a Redland Hills t-shirt, we encourage you to wear it!

Elmore County Food Pantry
For STUDENT Ministry: The Elmore County Food Pantry is a local ministry that supplies food assistance to neighbors in need. This serve team will assist in their warehouse to put together boxes of food. People needed: 10-12. Report to the Food Pantry at 515 W. Boundary St. at 9 am. Team captain: April Brown
Humane Society of Elmore County

The HSEC works every day to provide a safe and humane environment for the 250-300 animals in their care and to also find loving homes for as many of them as possible. This serve team will assist in assisting the shelter with some of the chores in their daily operations and their thrift store. People needed: 10. Report to 255 Central Plank Road at 9 am. Team captains: Tobi Henderson.
Adopt a Mile Trash Cleanup

Trash can easily make a beautiful community look less than inviting. This group will be picking up litter along a mile of Rifle Range road that Redland Hills has officially adopted. This will be a family friendly project easy for most ages. Report to the church building at 8 am. Trash bags, safety vests, & gloves provided. Please wear closed toe shoes for walking in the high grass and roadside area. People needed: 12. Report to RHC in the parking lot at 8 am. Team captain: Amanda Gunn.
Elmore County Pregnancy Center

This local ministry exists to serve women with free services such as pregnancy tests, ultrasounds, educational classes (Earn While You Learn for both moms and dads), baby supplies (earned through the EWYL program) and options coaching. This serve project will be doing some deep cleaning inside the center. People needed: 4-5. You’ll report at 9:00 am at 104 Company Street, Wetumpka. Team captain: Samantha Adams
Adullam House
The Adullam House is a local ministry dedicated to the children of incarcerated mothers at Tutwiler Prison. These children are provided a loving environment, education, and spiritual community. This project will be working in the “baby house” for painting, repairs, and work in the flower beds. People needed: 10-15. You’ll report to 212 Adullam Road at 9 am. Team captain: Lisa Sawyer
ARC of Elmore County
The ARC is an organization that promotes and protects the human rights of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and actively supports their full inclusion and participation in the community throughout their lifetimes. We are going to have a cookout, play some yard games, and spend time with their residents who live in Wetumpka. No need to bring anything. People needed: 10-12. Report to 334 Old Jasmine Hill Rd. Wetumpka, AL 36093 at 10:45AM and our cookout will be from 11-2. Team captain: Collin Ingmire

Redland Elementary
Our local elementary school is an incredible place where more than 900 children learn every day. This team will be helping do some clean up work around the school, both inside and outside. People needed: 10-15. You’ll report to 495 Scholars Dr at 8 am. Team captain: Matt & Brooke Delk.
