Summer Party | Wednesday Night Kids
On Wednesday, May 17th we are going to kick off the summer with a Summer Party for all 1st-6th graders! We will be talking about what we can do to stay close to Jesus this summer and we have some fun summer activities planned! Your kids will not want to miss it!
Join us for an afternoon on the lawn as we welcome neighbors and friends from 4-6pm. We’ll have live music, popcorn, inflatables, a food truck, and some fun competitions to enjoy. Feel free to bring a lawn chair and meet some neighbors. This event is free!
Muffins with Mom
Mother’s Day is May 14, 2023. Come celebrate and offer thanks to the Moms, Grandmas, Aunts and Sisters in our church family. Muffins will be served with coffee, water, and juice.
Senior Sunday 2023
We look forward to celebrating our graduating seniors and praying over them during our morning worship as they transition to a new phase of life. Following the worship service, take a moment to offer a word of encouragement or knowledge to them. They’ll each have a table set up in the worship center displaying their achievements and accolades.
Community Serve Day
On May 6, 2023 our church will release an army of compassion throughout our area. We have a variety of projects that need helping hands. We invite you to participate by signing up in advance for a project. Your team lead will contact you with specifics prior to Serve Day.
Baptism is an important step of obedience that shows others we have personally trusted Jesus for our salvation. Jesus was baptized when He was on the earth, and we do this to follow His example. We are dedicating today as Baptism Sunday. If you would like to be baptized, click here to let us know.
Parent/Child Fishing Day
Bring your child out for a fun day on the lake in the Coosada from 9am-12pm as Mike Hagen hosts our annual parent/child fishing day with a cookout following the fishing. Bring: family, fishing poles and bait, lawn chairs for lunch, canoe orkayak, if you have, oh yeah — fishing luck!Lunch will be provided: hamburgers. hotdogs, chips, etc.
Stock The Pantry Night | Wednesday Night Kids
Our monthly theme night for Wednesday Night Kids on April 19th is going to be “Stock the Pantry” Night! All food donated will be given to the Elmore County Food Pantry. We encourage all 1st-6th graders to bring 3 canned food items! If you have any questions, please email email@example.com!
Praying for the Muslim World
This world-wide call for the Christian church to pray for the Muslim world coincides with the month of Ramadan, a time of year when Muslims are more deeply aware of spiritual matters. Christians in many countries will be praying God would indeed passionately meet them during these days. A prayer guide for adults and kids is available.
We will be holding a Blood Drive on Sunday, April 16, at RHC in partnership with LifeSouth. The blood mobile will be on hand and snacks to help you recover. No appointment necessary. 9 am to 2 pm. Let’s show compassion to our community!
Good Friday Service
On Friday, April 7, at 7 pm, our Redland Hills musicians will lead us in an evening of worship reflecting on all that Jesus did for us on the cross. We’ll also recount from the Bible how powerful the cross is in our lives.
Student Ministry Parent Meeting
This is a meeting for any parent with students going into 7th-12th grades. We’ll hang out, play some games, and talk about some great events that are coming up. God is at work in the lives of students at Redland Hills Church and we can’t wait to tell you about it!
