Serve Day is a day we’ve set aside to intentionally show compassion in our community. We’ve organized several projects of various types to participate in. For a list of projects, details, and to register, click the “register” button above.
We look forward to celebrating our graduating seniors and praying over them during our morning worship as they transition to a new phase of life. Following morning worship we’ll serve some light refreshments in their honor.
In the book, Judy moody is a feisty 3rd grader who sets out to have the most thrilling summer of her life, so she organizes a contest with her friends to see who can have the most exciting summer. To win the contest, they must have a certain amount of “thrill points”. We are going to join in on her challenge this year! The final instructions Jesus gave his followers was to make disciples and baptize them in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit (Matthew 28:19). An evening of reflection and worship for the cross.
Kids 4th-6th grade are invited to join Elisabeth Owen in a 4 week study called The investigators. In this study they will have fun investigating some of the biggest questions kids have about Jesus by addressing the existence, miracles, ministry, and resurrection of Christ all while growing in their faith. This group will meet Feb 28, March 7, 14, & 28 (one week spring break on the 21st).
Saturday, March 27th, we’ll be sprucing up the church yard & other yard tasks. We’ll also have inside cleaning tasks as well as we prepare for Easter. Bring your work gloves!
