Update Regarding Recent Events in Israel
The global state of affairs can change quickly. It has been heartbreaking to watch the tragedy of many lives lost in recent days. While there are no easy answers to this complicated conflict, we are prayerful that peace will come soon. In 2006 Israel and Lebanon experienced a 34 day war in which hundreds were killed. Peace was brokered and Wes led a group in 2008 that went smoothly and enjoyed safety in the country. We are hopeful something similar will happen this time. Because our trip is still more than 1 year away, we remain optimistic the trip can happen as planned in November 2024. However, we will refrain from making any firm bookings until the situation has vastly improved and security situation is stable. If you remain interested in traveling, continue to save your money. Should we need to postpone the trip further out in the future, we will let you know. We will aim to evaluate the feasibility of a trip in early December 2023.
Walking in the Footsteps of Jesus…
It will be a trip to remember as we journey together to the land of the Bible. Nothing will unlock your understanding of Scripture more than experiencing the places that have shaped our faith.
Whether it is seeing the empty tomb for yourself, walking the Via Dolorosa, standing underneath the olive trees of the Garden of Gethsemane, sailing on the Sea of Galilee, being baptized in the Jordan River, or experiencing the birth place of Jesus, your faith will be deepened and strengthened.
This is Pastor Wes’ second group to lead to Israel. We are partnering with an experienced, licensed, and reputable tour company, America Israel Tours. As we journey to each stop on our itinerary, we’ll pause for scripture reading and teaching. Even prior to our departure, we’ll begin equipping you to understand the framework for all the history you’ll experience. Our goal is for your faith to grow.
We look forward to traveling with you in November 2024!
