Our first-ever Redland Hills Men’s Retreat will be held March 31-April 1 at beautiful Shocco Springs retreat center in Talladega, AL. This overnight gathering will be a time of growing together, fun, and good food. Not only will be be in the word together, you’ll get some time in nature at a beautiful camp in the mountains. You’ll also hopefully meet a new friend or two. Dads are also invited to bring their sons. If you have a co-worker or friend you’d like to bring along, we’d love to welcome them.
Shocco Springs is about 1.5 hour drive from RHC. Check-in will begin begin at 4 PM, with dinner served at 5:30pm. Early arrivals are welcome to enjoy the camp property, including nature trails. You are welcome to arrive late if you are unable to leave work in time, just let us know to save you a plate. The church bus will depart RHC at 3:30p if you’d like to ride it.
Rooms are hotel style with two double beds in each room and a private bath. If you have a preferred roommate, you can indicate that when you purchase your ticket. For an extra fee, you may reserve a private room for yourself. Bedding and towels are provided. Meals will have a buffet, salad bar, and sandwich bar to accommodate all dietary needs.
We will wrap up at Shocco about 3 PM on Saturday. If you are riding the church bus, we should arrive back at RHC by 4:30 PM.
The weekend is $75 per person (double occupancy) and includes dinner, breakfast, and lunch if you register by March 5. A private room is $95 per person. If you are unable to afford the cost, simply use “pay10” (case sensitive) as the discount code and you’ll only owe $10 for the weekend, no questions asked. After March 5 the cost increases $10 per person.
