Sundays: Nursery – 3rd GradeDSC_0264

As a community of faith, we welcome parents and children to worship together, and we consider the presence of children in our worship service to be a blessing to our entire body.   Our nursery class is a teaching environment.  We believe even small children can learn God loves them.

During the message during the service, we offer 3 classes:

  • Nursery (6 weeks old – 23 months old)
  • PreSchool & Kindergarten
  • 1st-3rd grade

For our classes we are using the D6 Curriculum.  It is a discipleship focused curriculum built around the family and encouraging parents to be involved in their child’s spiritual growth.  You can view samples, read about the curriculum background, and sign up to receive a weekly parent email by visiting the site here.

Wednesday Nights: 1st – 6th Grade

IMG_0925 2We are getting revved up for our Fall semester Kid Small Groups (2nd Wednesday of the Month). More info to come. But, here’s a heads up –  start saving your SHOE BOXES!

Our heart is for our children to grow in the Spirit and in the Word. Our Wednesday night groups are at 6:30 PM for the lower elementary (1st-3rd Grade) and upper elementary (4th-6th Grade) to continue to equip them with a Biblical foundation.

Parents: The teens will meet at the same time. These homes are in the Emerald Mountain area. So if you have kids that fall into more than one age group, the homes are close by.

Service To Others

We also are passionate about teaching our kids the value of service. As a part of our Missional Community groups, our kids are a part of the work in appropriate ways.

Summer: VBS, Camp Elevate, and Fun!

2017 Update: Wow! What a fun-filled summer we had loving on each other and serving the community. From “capturing the flag” to strategically placing encouraging rock messages, we did it all. But the best thing is our kids are learning what it means to LIVE OUT LOUD for Jesus.
