Elisabeth Owen

As an Army kid, Elisabeth has lived in 5 different states including Alaska and Hawaii!  She claims Ozark, AL as her hometown and has served in the children’s area during her teenage years by helping out in VBS, children’s church and teaching handbells to elementary aged kids.  Like her husband, Jim, she  found herself passionately serving at Redland Hills Church when she began attending in 2018 on the opening day of the church building.  In Fall 2020, she immersed herself into the children’s ministry by offering weekly in-person Wednesday night classes for 1st – 3rd graders.  It has been such a joy and a blessing for her be a part of the children’s ministry at Redland Hills Church and she looks forward to what God has for the future of the ministry!  She enjoys sharing the Gospel of Christ to the kids she encounters, is an avid reader (mainly non-fiction), knits/crochets and loves to travel. She is married to Jim (since 2004) and has 2 children, Emily and Annalynn, whom she homeschools.
