Join us for an afternoon on the lawn as we welcome neighbors and friends from 4-6pm. We’ll have live music, popcorn, inflatables, a food truck, and some fun competitions to enjoy. Feel free to bring a lawn chair and meet some neighbors. This event is free!
Mother’s Day is May 8, 2022. Come celebrate and offer thanks to the Moms, Grandmas, Aunts and Sisters in our church family. Muffins will be served with coffee, water, and juice.
We will be hosting a blood drive on May 7, 2021 from 10:00 am until 3:00 pm through LifeSouth. It is a great way to offer compassion by offering the gift of life. You can sign up to register for a time by clicking on the register button.
On May 7, 2022 our church will release an army of compassion throughout our area. We have a variety of projects that need helping hands. This world-wide call for the Christian church to pray for the Muslim world coincides with the month of Ramadan, a time of year when Muslims are more deeply aware of spiritual matters. Christians in many countries will be praying God would indeed passionately meet them during these days. A prayer guide for adults and kids is available.
We look forward to celebrating our graduating seniors and praying over them during our morning worship as they transition to a new phase of life. Following morning worship we’ll serve some light refreshments in their honor.
Baptism is an important step of obedience that shows others we have personally trusted Jesus for our salvation. Jesus was baptized when He was on the earth, and we do this to follow His example. We are dedicating this day as Baptism Sunday. If you would like to be baptized, please let us know.
Bring your child out for a fun day on the lake in the Coosada from 7:30am-12pm as Mike Hagen hosts our annual parent/child fishing day with a cookout following the fishing. Bring: family, fishing poles and bait, lawn chairs for lunch, canoe orkayak, if you have, oh yeah — fishing luck!Lunch will be provided: hamburgers. hotdogs, chips, etc.
7 AM – Creek-side Sunrise Service There is no more peaceful way to celebrate the resurrection of Jesus than in nature’s cathedral. Join us creek-side on our Redland Hills property by Brenson Branch Creek for a beautiful morning. There is a brief walk down a level trail to the clearing. On Friday, April 15 at 7 pm, our Redland Hills musicians will lead us in an evening of worship reflecting on all that Jesus did for us on the cross. We’ll also recount from the Bible how powerful the cross is in our lives.
The parent summer meeting is for parents with students entering 7th-12th grade. We will be discussing the summer calendar with an emphasis on summer camp. If your student is attending summer camp it is important for you to attend this meeting. We will meet immediately following the 11am service in the Navigate room.
Every home has upkeep- including your church! We plan to freshen up for spring both inside and outside with clearing up limbs, yard work, new pine straw, window cleaning, and other chores. Bring your work gloves.
